New to the area. Had a lovely, winter, evening walk. A compact walk, though was calm and perfect for a stroll.
Nice park, small play park with sand pit. Nice for a little walk with lots of grass.
Our local park we've used for 10 years for family and dog walks. Well kept by the very active Friends of Hurst Grange Park, there's always evidence that working parties have been and attended to different areas. Responsible dog owners as a rule, a good place for regular walks. Bring your wellies in wet season to give you more range to explore. Playground is well maintained and popular. Sometimes a few older kids on the swings at dusk and very occasionally a small group smoking weed near the ponds on the other side of the park in the summer holidays but nothing menacing. There's a field by the play area where you can play ball games / frisbee / fly a kite etc. Nearest local loos would be Booths supermarket a short drive or 10 minute walk away.
Beautiful park, gorgeous in autumn. You can stick to the well maintained, accessible paths, or forge your own way through the woods - you'll find little creeks, open fields, marsh ponds and lots of wildlife :)
Brilliant park. My grandson loves the play area especially the sand pit, slide and swings. It's fenced off so no dogs allowed. Lots of different pathways to walk.
